The development

For decades lawyers have assisted their clients in all fields of law. However, the experience of the last few years showed that a single lawyer can no longer provide all required comprehensive legal services. As a consequence, lawyers specialize in particular fields of law and acquire additional qualifications. Specialisation by itself, however, is not sufficient to provide clients with comprehensive legal advice in all fields of law; instead, teamwork is essential.
